It all started in my childhood, where I had the privilege of witnessing my family's meticulous work with cashmere wool. From brushing and dehairing to spinning it into delicate yarn for the coveted Pashmina scarf, every step in the process exuded tradition and expertise.
In 1994, my father, Mr. Jagadishwor Pokharel, laid the foundation of Ganeshdeep Pashmina in Nepal, starting as a humble operation that gradually blossomed into one of the country's few Certified Cashmere Manufacturers. Over the years, our family business flourished, expanding its reach and earning recognition for its commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
With a desire to embrace the digital age while staying true to our heritage, my brother, Mr. Maheshwor Pokharel, and I founded Cashmere Kala in 2023. Our mission is simple yet profound: to offer an exceptional cashmere experience characterized by unparalleled quality and dedicated customer service.
